China,the home of silk,was known to the ancient Greeks and Romans as "Seres",the "Land of Silk".Sericulture,or silk making,including the cultivation of mulberry trees and silkworms,and the techniques of reeling,weaving and dyeing,was practice in China thousands of years ago.Silk,including the products,technology and art,has long played a major role in Chinese civilization and was  a key factor in the creation of the Silk Road,which brought the textiles from both sides to each other and made a great contribution to the exchange of civilizations of East and West.

Mulberry silk fabric
A single silk filament is composed of two fibres of fibronin (silk protein) covered by a coating of sericin (silk glue). Consisting of 18 amino acids, the silk filament is a porous fibre that makes the silk soft, lustrous, and absorbent. In China, silk is regarded as the Queen of Fibers. All of our silk scarves are made of 100% mulberry silk of the highest grade 6A.

Optimize Your Scarf Production with Our Fabric

Our fabrics are produced in full bolts, available in standard widths of 92cm, 112cm, and 138cm. Each bolt is approximately 45 meters long.

To maximize efficiency and reduce waste, we recommend designing your scarf dimensions based on our fabric widths. You can produce 1, 2, or more scarves per width, depending on your design. For optimal results, we suggest a maximum length of 2 meters per scarf.

Tickness
Momme is a unit of silk thickness,the larger the momme the thicker the silk fabric.The momme of silk is the weight of the fabric,generally speaking,the larger the weight,the more silk raw materials used,the higher the cost.

Different silk fabrics have different thickness,If you prefer a thicker silk fabric,we recommend silk satin fabric,silk twill,silk CDC;if you prefer thinner faabic,we recommend silk habotai,silk chiffon,etc.

Digital printing is categorized into single side printing and double side printing,thin fabrics(under 12momme) single side printing is enough,because of the thinness so the front and back of the scrf will have a color penetartion.Silk fabrics over 12mm,e.g.14mm silk satin,14mm silk twill,double side printing is optional.

Hemming ways
There are two main ways to roll the edges of a scarf,one is machine rolled and the other is hand rolled.
The advantage of machine hemming is that the edges of the scarf are very neat and it takes a short time.
Hand rolling have the advantage of being more delicate,made by hand,stitch by stitch.

You can send to me through a website called wetransfer,the pattern format can be :TIFF,JPG,PDF and PSD,the resolution need to be more than 150 DPI in order to have enough clear printing results.
