MM: Momme
Momme is a measurement used to determine the quality and weight of silk. It refers to the weight of a piece of fabric in pounds. The higher the momme weight, the more durable and luxurious the silk is.
Most commonly, silk with a momme weight between 16 and 19 is used for clothing and bedding, while silk with a momme weight of 22 or higher is considered high-quality luxury silk. However, the appropriate momme weight depends on the intended use of the silk product. For example, heavier momme weights are used for upholstery, while lighter momme weights are used for sheer fabrics.

3. About Patterns
If you have your designs: Please send your designs as large picture files in PSD, AI, PDF, or JPEG format, each file should be no less than 300 DPI. Also, please provide the Pantone color numbers if available. For large files, you can send them to us using WeTransfer or Dropbox.
If you don't have your designs: There are various excellent designs available here and are highly recommended. We can provide you with designs according to your preferences for volume production with your logo.
4. Printing ways

The printing ink only prints on the front side of the fabric and becomes permanent on the backside. As a result, there may be some color differences between the front and back. The requirements for the pattern are not strict, so various patterns can be printed, such as an oil painting style, pasted flowers with more color details, and so on. |
| Double-sided digital printing |
Our advanced digital printing methods allow us to print designs on both sides of 14 and 16 momme and other thicker silk fabric without any color differences. This results in a better consistent color effect on both sides. Clients have the option to choose double-sided printing for their scarves, enabling two different patterns on a single scarf for added convenience. |
| Hand screen printing |
The traditional printing method is the top choice for many fashion brands. Each color is applied by hand, with our workers brushing the colors one by one to maximize the layering of the pattern on the silk fabric. This results in better saturation and penetration compared to digital printing. |
